Rise in Insurance complaints is not surprising

The recent rise in insurance complaints is not surprising according to FPNZ Advice General Manager Kevin Brailey. When consumers choose to buy insurance over the internet or over the counter at their nearest shopping centre they put themselves in a position of unnecessary risk.

The whole area of disability and loss of income insurance needs qualified advice which is why FPNZ Advice is experiencing tremendous growth in this area. With the advice process we take with our clients we certainly would not expect any problems in this area in the future nor have we experienced them in the past.

Surge in Insurance sales against job loss

FPNZ Advice recent radio campaign on Redundancy Insurance has seen a huge boost in sales not only for redundancy insurance but also disability income insurance and they are not surprised the industry is experiencing a surge in sales.

The current market has left consumers very vulnerable with many having a minimal nest egg to fall back on, an investment property which would not return a great deal in a forced sale and perhaps an investment or share portfolio that has seen better times.

According to FPNZ Advice Kevin Brailey the range of enquiries extends across all types of demographic, types of employment and industries. FPNZ Advice intends continuing its proactive message to consumers to get in touch with them now before it may be to late.
